How Does Solea® Work?
The Solea laser works by concentrating an intense beam of light to perform pin-point accurate dental procedures. The light is easy to control and allows us to painlessly vaporize tissue, eliminate tooth decay, and remove soft tissue from gums. The beam cauterizes while it works too, which dramatically improves recovery time and reduces the need for pain medication.

Solea® All-Tissue Laser
Inside the technology
The Solea Laser is a CO2 (carbon dioxide) based laser technology that enables treatment to be performed on both hard tissues(teeth) and soft tissue(gums), with extreme precision. The FDA approved Solea laser uses a unique wavelength of light (9.3 Micrometers), which effectively vaporizes enamel and allows for incredibly fast treatment. Best of all, the Solea laser is virtually painless, and extremely quiet during use.
